Thread: You Eat What????

Enjoyed the you eat posts which made me think of this. Tell us something you eat that most people don't or haven't or won't.

Being from the south you would have thought I'd been raised on everything southern. Somehow I missed out on fried okra until college. I did grow up on boiled okra which most people can't stand but I still like.

Nothing unusual comes to mind here just yet...

I will tell you all something about my brother though he eats everything! He tries everything and he likes everything. I tell him all the time he would eat the ass of a dead skunk if it didn't stink.

Peanut butter and cheese sandwiches...

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches...

Grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (instead of grilled cheese)...

Peanut butter and molasses on pancakes....

But, actually, we've cut back on the peanut butter - we use to get a couple of 5 pound tubs every month from the food co-op - the natural knnd (peanuts only, none of that peanut flavored Crisco you get in the super market.)

Jen and I use to be card carrying members of the Peanut Butter Lovers Club - but we lost the cards somewhere.

Rib fest weekend here in Toronto. I can walk out my back yard, down the ravine and through the park into the venue. Music, beer and ribbers from Canada and the US...yum!
