Thread: HTW Family Tour

goldtop - 12/9/2003 at 02:57 PM

Sound Advice Amphitheater is a new member of HTW family....I put a post over on their site about being one of the hosts of the HTW family tour. We need people to show them some interest in this happening for them to be interested in being involved. Post away

Pam - 12/10/2003 at 03:16 PM

I visited the site already! Looks like a nice place for a good Jam! Seems they only average 30 functions a year so that means plenty of open dates too!

Come on folks help us get the buzz going and spread the word!

Dusty - 12/12/2003 at 05:37 AM

I don't necessarily think a full on tour as a HTW unit is realistic at this point? If a few of the HTW bands could get together to do a few co-bills that would be great. It's very realistic to see the HTW bands playing "after party" type of shows, which have become oh so popular these days.

It would also be cool to see some of the bands get hooked up with some of the more popular festivals and do a HTW stage, late night, or something like that. Sell the bands to the festivals as a package. GOTV in the east, Bonaroo in the south, High Sierra in the west. Jazz Fest, SXSW...

Dusty - 12/17/2003 at 03:37 PM

yea Ray.... I think as long as we think and work in a Postive direction, I'll work out one way or the other
Ya gotta believe!!!!!

Ok, now that the Beacon dates have been announced (March 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 26 and 27) It's time to get the show on the road. Any and all ideas about where the HTW Family bands can book some shows around those dates in NYC would be appreciated. I'm assuming "late night" so that people can continue the party after the ABB shows. I hope we can make this happen!

At least you're not alone Dusty! I'm really hoping for the NYC thing in March. How great that will be to see the ABB along with the rest of you HTW types, all in a few days time!
Summer tour sounds good too!
